Secured PDF Generation

We are using HTMLtoPDF OOB activity to generate PDF, new requirement needs the PDF to be secured. We tried to use the param.pyEditablePDF, since it lacks help documents, we can't achieve it. 

Can anyone have any idea to generate the secured PDF with password protected?

Can you explain what's Parm.pyEditablePDF in HTMLtoPDF?

Can you confirm if Pega is using PD4ML library and which version is it in 8.3?
