Search in emails body and browse the related the cases and show all in the search results
Hi,
I have a requirement where the business want to search a text in the email body (attached to the cases) and want to see the list of cases which are related to the search.
Is it possible to do it by using the elastic search functionality. Please let me know.

Hi Anish,
Pega platform internally uses Apache Tika for attachment parsing. You can check the formats supported here - https://tika.apache.org/1.6/formats.html. The Mail formats link has details on the supported email formats.

If the email body is an attachment to the case, and if attachment indexing is enabled on the search landing page, then we can search in the attachment content and return the cases whose attachments have this search string.
Please share the version of the Pega platform you are using.
