Scheduling and Calendering Capability in Pega
We have a requirement that customers/claimants to schedule calls with customer support staff by linking with support staff Microsoft Calendar through Pega portal.
Any insight or best solutions that how Pega has been leveraged to address this for any of the clients in the industry who are using Pega.

Thanks for the details. When I was trying to use the corresponding FA mentioned there I am seeing an error and due to that I am unable to proceed further. I am using V6.2 SP2. Is there anything I have to do to get rid of this error?

Hello Ravi, The Error looks like the issue where a non-admin account attempts to download a activex control without access. I will check if the dll mentioned is installed : C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files. The files start with PegaOutlook. If you need to reinstall it is typically :.../install_base\install\prpc\ResourceKit\Utilities\OCXInstaller\CabInstaller.zip

I am in the process of implementing the steps mentioned in the article.
From the above issue trying to understand, since Pega uses PegaOutlookAddInCaller ActiveX control to register with Microsoft Outlook.
From an end user stand point when they use this functionality, as a pre-requisite do they need have this ActiveX control installed?

Hello, I would expect it to prompt you if it wasn't installed at all. Might be a case were installation of activex components is restricted by admins in those cases typically the cab installer is used. But I would check if you have a activex plugin already or maybe its some how miss installed or partially installed removal might trigger a prompt for reinstall in less restricted environmets (might not be advisable in restricted ones). Note on the above it is not something I have personally encountered more of 3rd party cases. Someone with more UI expertise please weigh in.

Does this calendar feature work in Pega 7 too?
Is there similar capability to send emails directly from Pega with all of the below features?
- With similar look & feel of outlook
- Access to Outlook address book, so can autoselect outlook email addresses into To, CC fields or manually type
- Emails being stored as attachment against Pega Case
