Savable Data Page Structured type List

For Savable Data Page Structured type :Page pega has given Save options to Database save with class name which is direct with out any code.

 

For Savable Data Page Structured type :List we do not have straight forward save same as Page Structure is their any reason?

 

How Savable Data Page Structured type :List behaves for inserting the new record or to update existing record ?
