Sample Configurations are missing from the PCM budled package

HI,

I am installing PCM in my local machine, I have downloaded PCM tool from pdn (twice to cross verify) and followed the instructions shared in the installation guide. I am trying to follow the steps in chapter 7: Sample configurations and verification. As the part of this installation activity, I need to import the sample configurations jar which supposed to be bundled along with the PCM tool which is not found after extracting the PCM jar.

Please review, cross verify and share the sample configurations for PCM tool.

I am following the below steps to install the sample configuration. Also, correct me if I misunderstood the below (point 3)

Importing Sample Configurations
1. Login into the PCM-Client instance\node with pcmsysadmin
2. Launch the Import wizard, Pega Button  Application  Import & Export  Import
3. Select the sample configurations RAP file bundled with PCM components
4. Click next and proceed with the steps in the wizard till completion

 

Also, "Add New configuration" button is also not visible in PCM client portal. PCM client is installed without any errors. I have attached the PCM Client portal screen shot for your reference.

Note: Pega PRPC version used is 7.2.2, Both Server and client are installed on the same machine. I have followed and updated the database instances as suggested in the installation guide.

Hi Arun,

The document that is available in PDN is for older version of PCM. Thanks for bringing this to our notice. With new PCM 7, we are not shipping any sample configurations.

To create new configurations, click on "Add new governance Policy" button and proceed further.

Hi Chinmayee, 

Thank you for the quick response. I followed the above steps and tried to subscribe the application built in my local machine (personal edition). I am receiving the error "Please enter valid email address".  Since the application is built on a Local machine, I will /need to be passing the localhost (https://localhost:8080/prweb) details. I have attached the screen shot for your reference. 

Please review and let me know how I can configure PCM in my local host.
