Ruleset Skimming Revert?
Hi Pega Team,
 
I wanted to know that
after ruleset skimming , do we have older versions present in the environment?
I mean can we revert ruleset skimming?
 
For Example -we have Older version "01-01-04" and after skimming , my version become "02-01-01",so after skimming can we again point the older version i,e "01-01-04"?

Skimming is essentially a save as of each highest version rule to the new major ruleset. That means You can revert the skimming, by pointing to new ruleset(or by removing the new ruleset)

Hey Praveen , it means after skimming older versions will be present in the environment?

As per my knowledge  after ruleset skimming , rules count will be reduced and it will take only latest ruleset.

Ruleset skimming will create a new Major or Minor version of all the skimmed rulesets.Latest ruleset will contain reduced rules count as it is taking the highest rules of below versions to a new version but it doesnt mean earlier rulesets are deleted after a skimming.

Hi,

I feel that revertion of ruleset skimming is not possible. Older versions will be still available in the environment. We can access those rulesets by restricting the application ruleset stack in the application rule.
