Rule-Obj-List Issue

I am working on project which is on Pega 7.1.6 when I tried to add a property in Rule-Obj-List (edit list) while saving the instance then it does not get saved it get disappears while saving.  Don't know what was the cause of this issue.

Even though that property is added in the data class. I was not able to add in the Rule-Obj-List.

Please help me. Thank you.

Thanks for the information Kevin.

But right now we are using 7.1.6 version for all the development. Going forward we might update to latest version, but down the line I don't see any version update in my company. Please suggest me for 7.1.6 version.
