Robotic Studio Package Deployment Log
Does Robotic Studio keep any kind of list/log of the various deployments you've made for a given project over the last few weeks/months? Looking for information such as deployment version, deployment date, comments included with the deployment, etc.
We deploy locally and then manually move packages where they're needed, and don't deploy to any servers or anything if that helps with an answer. I haven't been able to find anything searching online, so any help would be appreciated!

We found a way to keep the old studio logs whenever Studio is restarted ("filesToKeep" property in the RuntimeConfig), which is a step in the right direction - but do you know if there a setting we can change that saves them to a different location when it keeps them? We could potentially be saving dozens at a time, so i'd rather not keep them in the appdata/roaming/openspan folder if possible.

There is not setting that allows those files to be moved automatically. You might look into enabling the Log4Net publisher as it has much more options that you can configure. It is a public library, and is thus well-documented. I suspect you could tweak the LogCategories to essentially only include the deployment information you are looking for. I would suggest that you begin using Robot Manager for your deployments as it would have a record of your deployments and who deployed them.
I would like to point out however that this is not the intended purpose of these logs, so your using them in this manner might preclude you from using the logs for their intended purpose (i.e. if support requested some additional categories enabled for troubleshooting an issue you were having).

We have actually never used Robot Manager for that functionality. Is there documentation somewhere on how to utilize it for deployments?

Here is the PRM landing page. You can select your version and then view all documentation on it from there. I included the link for the latest version, but in all versions you have the ability to see deployments and what developer created them.

No. There is no log explicitly for Studio deployments created. If enabled, the StudioLog.txt would contain that information, however that log resets whenever Studio is restarted.
