Robotic Assignment Timeout - Continue Automation skips timed out assignment

Is there a way to customize what happens to robotic assignments after they've timed out and been resumed by the user?  They seem to be skipping the current assignment and moving on to the next one when trying to resume them.

This is using the OOTB pzCreateRoboticAssignment.
