Report filter: pxcreatedatetime for a date range?

What is the syntax for creating a report filter to pull results from a date range? I think I'd have to use the pxcreatedatetime function in the calculation builder but I'm uncertain on the syntax.  I do not have access to edit the report definition or add additional filters or conditions.  daterange
