Report Editor - Delete Column in table not working
We recently updated our systems from Pega 8.6 to Infinity 24.1.0.
We're not using UI Kit or Cosmos or anything newer yet, we just use PegaRULES with a skin rule.
We also use the traditional report browser / viewer / editor.
With the new Infinity 24.1.0, we noticed that it's not possible to remove a column in a report when we open it in edit mode in report editor.
It behaves as follows:
- Open a report from report browser
- click on edit report
- right-click on one of the existing columns and choose delete
- confirm the modal dialog "Are you sure you want to delete the column?"
After that, nothing happens. The column that we wanted to delete remains there.
We encountered this problem both for existing and newly generated reports.
Has anyone else experienced this or has this been reported somewhere yet? I couldn't find anything but would be happy to get help.

@AnilkumarK17092392 It seems like the issue has been resolved in Patch Release 24.1.2 that came out last week:

INC-B23827: Corrected exception for Report Browser column drag/drop/delete
While editing a report in the Report Browser, drag and dropping a column or deleting a column generated an exception. This was traced to a code error in the pzPostReportConfigSection activity which added an additional condition to the 'when', and has been corrected.
We will test this in the coming days.

@KerstinS7367 ok thank you..! I would like to examine whether is there any approach to solve this in 24.1.0 without uplifting to 24.1.2
