Report Definition throwing error when joining with external data base table
Hi All,
We have created a report definition joining an external data base table class with internal class. but getting the below error when running the Report definition.
** An error occured on executing the query for the report definition - There was a problem getting a list: code: 942 SQLState: 42000 Message: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
DatabaseException caused by prior exception: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
| SQL Code: 942 | SQL State: 42000
Version : 7.2
Any suggestions please.

Hi,
Are you using any synonyms in your DB ? Synonyms in oracle DB may cause issues sometimes.

Hi Sireesha,
Yes, Grants and Privileges have been given.
If we report definition only for external database class, it's working fine.
But it's throwing error only when we are joining with Internal class.

Hi Srini, This is not possible case through RD seems, If it is same database and same schema, join will work.
Joining different database in query need to super user role and both DB should be connected
