Report Definition - blank rows if a function alias is not used
Hello, I have a strange problem. Once I want to insert a property on its own (just .Example) all of the rows are blank (they indeed persist, checked that).
But when I just use Concatenate or any other function alias, the report will display these values. I checked the format for this column and it remains empty regardless of whether I apply it for a plain property or a function alias.
Any suggestions why only after using function alias the values appear? I simply want to insert the plain .Example.

I'm not sure I understand your issue, can you please elaborate?
Are you saying that if you include property .Example in your report, the values in that column are all blank, regardless of whether that property has a value? But if you use a function alias to concatenate a string to the value of .Example, the column values are not blank?
If my description is correct, in the FA case, does the value of .Example get displayed along with the concatenated string?
What is the data type of .Example?
