Reordering of columns in repeating grid with source as pagelist
Is there a way to reorder columns in repeating grid with source as pagelist?
can we have columns ordered dynamically when loading?

Thanks for posting on PSC.
When we are generation grid dynamically, then it will take the order of the Source. You can modify the source ordering and it will get reflected. Else you can add the components in grid and refer the properties directly.
There is no dynamic way to update the order while loading.

The option of generating grid dynamically is available only when the source is report definition. Else not. Is there a way to generate grid dynamically or re-order columns based on preference, when the source to the grid is pagelist?

Hi Venu,
You are correct that dynamic generation is available in RD. In Pagelist you can reorder the rows but not alter the order on load.

We should be able to reorder the columns based on user's preference. User may choose the order and the chosen order should be maintained, when the user logs in next. User may change the order again.
