Regarding connecting to SMTP server through proxy

Our PRPC version is 8.7.0. We have a requirement to connect to external systems REST and SMTP server through proxy.

in 8.7.0, there is a provision in Connect rule (Connect-REST) to set Proxy information to integrate with external systems' APIs. However, there is no provision to connect to SMTP server through proxy in the Email account. It would be of great help if anybody can share their experience on handling similar requirements.
