Redirect and Run activity
When a user logs in to one application portal and clicks on a specific functionality- a new tab should be launched of the different application.
Approach: We have used RedirectandRun activity for this. It does launch the new tab with the different access group/application but the problem is original session/thread context is lost.The other functionalities of the original application error out.We checked the Requestor sessions in SMA and its always one (i.e. new application).The original session is lost.

2) On the link call a Harness that calls RedirectandRun activity. Pass the required parameters. (attached)

Hi,
We looked into both the links and from the first link decided the HFIX-23690.We raised an SR for the same and got a reply from the GCS team that the HFIX may not be an appropriate fix and we should raise another SR to get a suggestion from the GCS support engineers. Please help!

Failed to find a 'RULE-NAVIGATION' with the name PZPROFILEMENU' that applies to @baseclass
When we lokked up in the PDN we found this article that clearly states that thi can be solved with the hfix.

Hi,
In your sample please modify the parameters as follows,
bPurgeTargetThread="false"
PreserveAccessGroup="true"
If it doesnt work try again with PreserveAccessGroup parameter as "false"
