Radio Button selection disappears on click of text of the options

Radio Button selection disappears on click of text of the options but clipboard still has a value. We have used OOTB radio buttons control and configured the source with a data page. PFA of the screenshots. Since it is a required field, even without option selection visibility, form is getting submitted. Can anyone suggest a solution to this issue?
