Queue Processor Queue Item wait time
Performance Testing team want to measure the performance of Queue Processor and we want to capture both Queue wait time + Processing time. we are able to find log the processing time in QP activity. is there way to measure the Queue wait time ( amount of time the item waited in Queue before its picked for processing ) ?

Queue processor should be processed immediately if the threads are available to process the messages.
I think you can calculate the wait time from the time it is queued until it gets picked up. Then you can add logs before you queue it to the queue processor and another log message in the first line of queue processor activity. I hope the difference would be the waiting time in queue...

You can review the logs by enabling the log category pxBackgroundProcessing.QueueProcessor to DEBUG. This should probably give the info you are looking for wrt when the item was queued and when it was picked for processing.
