I have tried to find the answer on Pega community and in the online help, but was not able to find it.
In DLL's environments security policies are used. One of the policies is that a password expires after 30 days. For some operators like email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org the requirement is that passwords do not expire. However, adding them to the list of operators that have to be excluded does not have as effect that the password does not expire for these operators.
It looks that operators that are on the list with operators are only excluded from the Operator disablement policy and not from the password policy.
Is there a way to exclude operators from the password policy so that passwords for these operators do not expire?
I am sorry to hear that, but I also did not find a way to exclude operators from the password policy. I would like to have a permanent password for email@example.com as this operator is used to run the Pega usage reports and I tried to get it scripted. But with a frequently changing password automated running becomes complicated.
A previous version of the license tool used database accounts, but now it is using services. That's why I am having this question.
