Question about security policies
Hello,
I have tried to find the answer on Pega community and in the online help, but was not able to find it.
In DLL's environments security policies are used. One of the policies is that a password expires after 30 days. For some operators like [email protected] and [email protected] the requirement is that passwords do not expire. However, adding them to the list of operators that have to be excluded does not have as effect that the password does not expire for these operators.
It looks that operators that are on the list with operators are only excluded from the Operator disablement policy and not from the password policy.
Is there a way to exclude operators from the password policy so that passwords for these operators do not expire?

Unfortunately, "Exclusion list of operator IDs" applies only for disablement policy.
There's no way to exclude an operator from the list. Security policies affect all operators

Thank you for your reply.
I am sorry to hear that, but I also did not find a way to exclude operators from the password policy. I would like to have a permanent password for [email protected] as this operator is used to run the Pega usage reports and I tried to get it scripted. But with a frequently changing password automated running becomes complicated.
A previous version of the license tool used database accounts, but now it is using services. That's why I am having this question.

(honestly speaking, there is always a way to workaround it - differenr tweaks with java/js scripts. But hacking the system in that way could potentially have dangerous effect to the whole PegaPRPC)
