PVS - Virtual Machine Error For CLSA 7.1

Hi - I have successfully downloaded 2 fresh virtual machines from CLSA 7.1 online course homepage. Also I have imported both through VirtualBox.

However whenever I start those using Virtual Box, the following console screen is displayed - PFA. The Pega 7.1.9 homepage URL is not listed hence I am unable to access the 7.1.9 environment and log in. I have restarted, done ACP shutdown and tried multiple times but the problem is the same.

I tried in on VMWare Workstation 14 player as well but the result is the same.

Please help. I have appearing for CLSA 7 Part 2 shortly.

Hi Arnab - I have faced this problem before but normally it gets resolved for me if I restart my machine. Also you can cross check whether you have setup correctly against the attached guide.

Thanks Ganesh. The problem still persists even after machine restart. Also I have the guidebook that you shared but I can only validate the same once the PVS url is correctly displayed through which I can access this homepage.

At this moment, the PVS URL is not getting listed after the VM is started as indicated in the screen shot that I attached in the initial post.

Kindly suggest. Its urgent.

Hi - I have uninstalled, cleaned registry, restarted machine and then installed the virtual box software again and I am able to get the PVS url now. However when I try to access it from local IE / Chrome, it throws exception "site cannot be reached". Please help in what settings to be done for connecting to this url.

When reinstalling the virtual box software, I kept everything as default, and the network adapter was taken as "NAT". I am not using an internet cable rather using a usb modem (dongle).

Hi - Have you tried with VMWare? Or you can try doing it with personal edition. If you are aiming for CLSA, personal edition is allowed as per below link. Download link is not working though. You may need to reach pega academy for downloading it incase you dont have it already
