Push notifications are not working on load balancer even though DSS setting are intact
- created Notification Rules , invoked notification rules in business scenarios with end user id
- when user logged in to portal , user is able to see the notification bell icon with list of notification as per business scenarios
- but when user is actively working on portal , if there are any notification for user system doesn't refresh bell icon, system doesn't show new notification until user logoff and relog in
- we have validate from SSO authenticated siteminder url , also checked browser network logs but we couldn't find any trace of server push notifications to browser
- we have created below DSS setting and restarted servers, but still live push notificaiton doesn't work

The issue with push notifications not working behind the load balancer is likely because the load balancer is not allowing WebSocket connections or not maintaining the user session with the same server (called sticky sessions). Even though notifications are visible after login, real-time updates like showing new notifications in the bell icon won't work if WebSockets are blocked. To fix this, make sure WebSockets are enabled and allowed through the load balancer and firewall. Also, enable sticky sessions so that the user stays connected to the same backend server. You can test this by accessing the application directly from a single node (bypassing the load balancer) and checking if push notifications work. If it works without the load balancer, then the load balancer settings need to be updated to support server push.
