PRPC 5.5 compatibility with WebSphere 8.5.5
PRPC 5.5 isn't officially supported on WebSphere 8.5.5, however does anyone have experience trying it? Customer is looking to upgrade WebSphere and upgrade their application but is hoping to move to WAS 8.5.5 before the application upgrade development is complete.

Yes, you are right PRPC 5.5 is not officially certified on WebSphere 8.5.5 and I don't think any customer has tried with PRPC 5.5 on WebSphere 8.5.5.
It is not a wise choice to upgrade WebSphere alone. Both PRPC and WebSphere should be upgraded together so it will not cause any impact on PRPC functionality when users access the same.
Kindly let me know what is the PRPC version you are going to upgrade? . So I can cross verify whether it is supported for WebSphere 8.5.5.

Thanks. I've already been encouraging upgrading to supported infrastructure at the same time.
It helps to say I've also asked and am not aware of anyone successfully doing it with an unsupported config.
