Production Server Setup architecture
Hi,
For our project we need to setup production environment where we will move our upgrade code. We need some help on setting the environment. Currently in pega 7.2.2 has 12 production server with 1 node per server but we are thinking for 4 server in 8.7.5 with multi node.
We are using Tomcat server and DB as Oracle

PEGA has a free (I think it's free :-) ) infra estimate sheet. You should raise SR to receive it.
Yet, If I understand well, you want to have vertical scaling instead of horizontal one?
I don't know your business, your expected uptime, etc, but just keep in mind that any server issue in your new design will then decrease your prod infra by 25% instead of 8% in your current situation. Same for any maintenance.
It's also typically recommenced to have more smaller servers than less big servers. (at least my preference :-) )
It's easier also to adapt each server need and to set up a very clean node classification and redundancy
Yet, there are lots of considerations to take into account to make such move, but for me, you'll add risk to your Prod.
