Problem displaying Grids Side by side (some of the Columns are being hidden)
Hi.
we do have a requirement of displaying two grids side by side. Each of them are having 5 columns each . To achieve this we created a dynamic layout with inline grid double and later dragged two grids separately. During design it looked good but when it was called as part of case we observed that some of the columns are being hidden in both the grids. we have keep hitting Tab button to see those columns.
Tried all combinations and even tried set layout width to Auto but still we can see the same problem . I hope this could be because of the size limitation of the layout or their could be any other reason.
Note : Requirement is display two grids side by side
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Hi Rachit,
Firstly thanks for taking your time and exploring it. I tried the suggested combination
1) It is working good with lesser number of columns I am attaching the screen prints (Picture 2 with 4 columns on each grid , Picture 3 and 5 with five colums one each grid)
2) It appeared good when I displayed 4 columns on each grid but ran the same hidden issue when I had 5 columns on each side. Is there a way where we can control the width of columns which might help us where we can fix the width of the columns

Hello Sapthagiri,
Thanks for posting your query in PSC :)
Could you share the screenshots displaying the configurations made at your end for both grids. Mention the Pega version used.
Try setting the container with other >> Nested, and width of content as Fill (100%), check Fixed (pixel) size grid(set the value of 980 in pixel) and see if this helps.

Hi, Please try the following options for both the grids,
- Leave Width of Content to "Fill (100%)"
- Uncheck the "Fixed (pixel) size grid" checkbox

Hello Sapthagiri,
I am able to resolve the reported behavior i.e. see two grids in parallel with inline double grid format. Refer the attached document with the presentation settings.

Hi Rincy,
we tried the suggested combination and attaching the results. There is a difference in the presentation when we do have data and when we do not have data.
1) when we don't have data we can see all the columns (example provided by you)
2) when we do have data we are in the same situation where some of the columns get hidden.
Trying to see if we can fix the width of the columns as we don't require a huge width for amount columns. Attaching the screen shots. please give a look and suggest accordingly.

Hi Sapthagiri,
I reduced the width of the individual column and it worked for me at runtime. Can you please check the same. It may resolve the issue.

Hi Rachit,

Hi Sapthagiri,
Yes, I displayed the two grids side by side & it was working for me. The issue here is there are too much content and too less space. It may be because I used 6 columns only(3 in each grid). Anyways, create a new custom style in grid format(1.png). refer that in both the grid(2.png) and share the result. If you are able to see all the columns then we may change other css styles.

Rachit
