Preemptive authentication option in Basic authentication profile
Hi,
What is the usecase where we use the Preemptive authentication checkbox in authentication profile rule with basic authentication.
Below is the help:
Select the Preemptive authentication check box to have the system send the basic authentication request before the server gives an unauthorized response.
Selecting this check box reduces the overhead of making the connection.
But could not figure out from that as to what's the usecase and where exactly its helpful

It is to improve the performance of the request processing, by sending the basic authentication attributes as part of the request itself preemptively, else I think unless the server responds "unauthorized", credentials will not be sent. So this prevents redundant back and forth calls.
