Pega Web Mashup and Websockets support
Hi,
On new 7.2.2 version, PRPC comes with support for Websockets and push notification, so that UI can be automatically refreshed if a Business Event comes, using Websockets support.
Can we leverage this when using Pega web Mashup technology? We need to have a single point of entry for our Customer and Partners, so we are implemeting some UI based on AngularJS, or Springboot, and we need to integrate Pega. We tried to use Pega web Mashup with 7.2.1, but we have requirements to have real time push notifications without Browser Refresh. And Pega did not support Websockets before, and neither did Pega Web Mashup.
So, with 7.2.2, and Pega Web Mashup, can we use Websockets to have real time push notifications onto AngularJS UI?

Hello,
Yes. Notification through WebSockets will work in the mashup scenario as well. We have tried an example of this and works as expected. Io cases where WebSockets are not available (based on browser or disabled for some reason) the notification will come through a long polling channel.

No, i have not received an answer, we are not using 7.2.2 yet, so we cannot test this feature.
Here, we are using Websockets, but using another technology for UI, AngularJS, and integrating with Pega. We tried to use Pega Web Mashup, but it did not support Websockets.
