Pega versions compatibility with CentOS 6.9

Hi ,

Could you please let us know that is the below Pega versions are compatible when we implement the OS patch update from Centos 6.2 Final to CentOS 6.9 ?

Pega 7.1.7

Pega 7.2.1

For the Pega versions mentioned , platform support guide says it supports "Red Hat Enterprise Linux v6" it means it supports even if we update the OS patch from CentOS 6.2 Final to CentOS 6.9 ? 

 

Canyone please confirm ?

Hi,

I asked one of our SME regarding this below is his response

Q.Is Centos6.9 Supported?

 Ans:Yes they should be able to just run a yum -y update to get the latest CentOS kernel. This should be done with the application server shutdown.

        Sometimes, the binaries installed by yum will cause the app server to stop running, so best to stop it before the update

      All of our Pega Labs instances are running 6.9 without any issues.
