Pega UDF Dependency (Oracle and DB2)

Hi ,

Please let me know if we can skip the UDF installation for Pega.I know UDF's are required to use properties in embedded page for Report Definition .

I want to know if there any other dependency with Pega UDF and if not can i skip UDF?

Back ground-As AWS RDS wont support java we are thinking to skip UDF and java ebalement in oracle 12C.Before that just want to confirm any other dependeency with UDF and Java in Database.

Yes, you can. All key functionality should work without UDF. FYI, in pegacloud instance, we used PLV8 to support UDF if needed - for the same reason you mentioned.
