You will need to re-interrogate everything in a new adapter. I would suggest that you perform interrogation side-by-side if possible, so that you can capture the controls identically to the current adapter. You can then go into each automation and drag the new controls on top of the old ones (which will replace them).

Pro Tip: If you close all open automations and then attempt to delete and adapter, Studio will warn you and give you a list of the automation that will be broken by deleting the adapter. You can cancel the deletion at that point and fix them until it no longer warns you.
