Pega Robotics Studio: passing strings into scripts
I noticed that if my script has a string or String parameter:
- if I call it passing the string from a String variable, it works, but
- if I call it directly typing the string into the parameter, it does not.
"Does not work" means the value is null when seen from inside the script.
Please refer to the images. Is there any reason for this, and any way to remove this restriction?

After speaking with Michael, he is using Studio version 8.0.1037. The script component has been completely re-written since then, so my recommendation is to upgrade Studio if he wants this resolved.

Thank you Thomas, my script was even simpler: I just "return input".
According to Thomas the script tool behaves correctly as of 8.0.1094, and the script component was rewritten in 8.0.1044 so it was probably fixed as early as then.
