Pega Platform login page using AWS ELB (classic)
Our Pega Platform 8.2 tomcat based installation is configured with an AWS classic Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) for two Pega web nodes on the default tomcat webapp port 8080.
Navigating to the ELB presents a distorted login page with a large pega image.
Direct navigation to either web node displays the login page as normal.
Any advice or tips to resolve the issue is greatly appreciated.

Edit the AWS Elastic Load Balancer (classic) configuration
Click [ Description ]
Click [ Edit stickiness ]
Select [ X ] Enable load balancer generated cookie stickiness
Leave Expiration Period blank
Click [ Save ]
Clear browser cache
Navigate to http://<ELB URL>/prweb

Happens for latest chrome and firefox. Switching the ELB to TCP fixes the issue (however I would rather not lose the sticky session capabilities that HTTP provides).

So this appears to be a LB configuration issue? FYI, Pega does require sticky session (cookie based persistence). You should consult AWS ELB documentation: e.g., https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticloadbalancing/latest/classic/elb-sticky-sessions.html
Also attach your prconfig file if not OOTB. I want to check if you have set secure and/or httponly settings.

I am having the same issue with IE
What about if we use ALB. You can't leave stickiness blank. Specify a value between 1 second and 7 days.
What is the right value?
