Pega Notifications duplicated

Hi,

We are using Pega 8.2.1 and facing an issue while sending notifications to manager. 

We are using OOTB send notification smart shape in our flow to notify a manager whenever tasks allocated to him. The notifications are working and we are able to see notifications when we login as manager and bell icon also indicates it. The problem is some times we are getting duplicate notifications for same case and when I run the report "pyGetNotificationsForOperator" I am able to see 2 entries for same work object at same time. So not sure how duplicate notifications are getting created.

Moreover, we have enabled "EnableNextGenQueueProcessing" DSS to true, so that we can use "Queue-For-Processing" rather than queue for agent in "pxnotify" activity. I am not sure whether Queue for processing creating any issues in this instance. 

Any quick help is really appreciated.
