Pega Marketing framework v 7.21 on Microsoft SQL server

HI Members,

is it possible to install to Pega marketing framework in below environment.?

AppServer: Oracle weblogic

Database: Microsoft SQL server.

installation document says pre requisite for installing Pega marketing framework as follow.

Install and verify Pega 7.2 on one of the following databases:

Oracle

DB2

PostgreSQL

it doesnt says anything about whether it can be installed on microsoft SQL server. does it mean it cant be installed on microsoft SQL server?

can you guys came across this or anyone tried this.?

Hi Rajasekhar

Currently there are so many testing being done  for NBAM in MS SQL Server enviornment. 

There are several issues found in MS SQL server enviornment, one of the issue is RD will not work in Ms SQL.

Hence currently, we do not support MS SQL for NBAM. may be in furture release it will be supported .

Hi Rajasekar,

Microsoft SQL Server is not supported, moreover the information provided in the Installation guide will only be supported by Pega. Hope this information might be helpful to you.

Thank you all for you responses.

i have raised SR for this and Pega support team confirmed that Microsoft SQL Server will be supported from PMFS  V7.22.

@abhishekblr, what is RD means in the above line you mentioned. 

one of the issue is RD will not work in Ms SQL.
