Pega Knowledge - I am unable to Select a new Template that I created

We are using Pega 8.3. I created a new Template in Pega KM but I am not able to change the default template or select another template when I start creating content.

Hi, 

When you created a new Template in Pega KM, the newly created Template will be listed under Configurations -> Templates. Please check if your created Templates is listed there. 

Then when you create Content by clicking on 'New content' under Knowledge -> Content, you can click on the 'Templates' icon inside the Content field (Rich Text Editor). Your created new Template should be in the list. You can select it. 

I tried it on my system and it worked Ok.

Please see attached snapshot for 'Template' icon inside RTE. You can select any existing Template from the list.
