Pega CRM Sales Automation: Issue with "Search Duplicate Cases" Functionality
Hello Pega Support Team,
I'm encountering challenges with the "Search Duplicate Cases" step within Pega Sales Automation. The functionality doesn't appear to behave as expected based on my configured conditions.
Configuration Details:
-
Basic Condition: Currently, I've set the basic condition to "Case ID is not equal to L". While I recognize this may not be a conventional condition, I've used it for diagnostic purposes to ensure the problem lies within this specific application.
-
Weighted Condition: As a test, I've set this to "Create Operator is not equal to s". Since my operator does not equate to "s", this condition should always evaluate to true.
Evidence:
-
Case ID Configuration: The attached image shows the configuration for "Search Duplicate Cases". As depicted, the basic condition is set as described above.
-
Running the Case: When I execute the case, the Case IDs consistently follow the "Lead-XXXX" pattern. Thus, the basic condition should always be satisfied.

Create Operator Details: The next image highlights the create operator. As you'll observe, it does not match "s", so the weighted condition should evaluate to true.
Any guidance or troubleshooting tips you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
