Pega Cloud: is it possible to differentiate network access controls by client device type?
We would like to understand if it's possible to configure different network access rules depending on the type of client device. This is specific to Pega Cloud in our case. The goal is to provide the optimal balance of security and usability for our users.
Example set of rules:
| Connection network | Client device | Access decision |
|---|---|---|
| Internet | Desktop PC (browser) | Allow |
| site-to-site VPN to Pega Cloud | Desktop PC (browser) | Allow |
| Internet | Mobile device (PIMC native client) | Deny |
| site-to-site VPN to Pega Cloud | Mobile device (PIMC native client) | Allow |
We know that it is possible to differentiate access by network, but not aware if it's possible to mix with device type.
