Pega CDH upgrade from 7.x to 8.6
While upgrading Pega CDH application from v7.2X to v8.6 , can we upgrade pega base prpc v7.2X directly to v8.6 and then we proceed with CDH upgrade from 7.2x to 8.6 or do we need an interim upgrade step , where we upgrade the base PRPC to some intermediate version, then bring the CDH to that intermediate version and then continue to upgrade to final 8.6 version.

There are some pre-requisite steps that should be completed before upgrading Pega platform to 8.6. The platform upgrade is listed as step 23. The pre-requisite steps are listed at the beginning of the upgrade guide: https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/pega-customer-decision-hub-7x-upgrade-guide/86/completing-prerequisite-tasks
Reviewing both the guide I provided and the appropriate platform guide before beginning the upgrade is recommended.

Thanks Rohea. I have gone through this article and I understand that a direct upgrade is possible, however , i am u able to find a guide for the same. I have only been able to find one which is a guide for 7.2x to 8.4.
