Is there any official documentation on the settings available to control the cache(s) in Pega 8.X? There doesn't seem to be anything in the platform installation guides for this. 

I can only find scattered references across multiple community posts that are mostly for older versions of Pega (5.X,6.X,7.X) or similar requests for information such as

I have found a few references via

It has the title 5.1.x to 6.1.x however is tagged with platform 7.1.1 - 8.5 so I'm assuming they are valid. 

I also assume these should have "Pega-Engine" as the owning ruleset... 

There are a list of settings here however it is also tagged as version 6.2 and some look like they would be out of date.

Surely there should be a list of these settings, what the recommended or 'default' setting is and what they do? 

Update: I have found a reference to a document "Configuration settings reference guide" e.g. "https://community.pega.com/system/files/pdfs/ProductSupport/Products/PegaRULESProcessCommander/documents/PRPC/V6/602/ConfigSettingsReference0602.pdf" This looks to detail the sort of thing I am after but newer versions don't seem to be available.
