The easiest way to access the Pega 8 cloud for hands on practice is to enroll in a FREE Pega Academy course. I would recommend starting with the System Architect Essentials course. In the course you will be able to click a link to Open exercise system and a individual cloud based instance will be created. You will be able to not only do the exercises associated with the course. You could also use this as a sandbox/practice environment.
