Pega 7.X - Automating LDAP creation

Hi,

I have almost automated the creation of a Pega server (7.2.2 currently but planning on moving to 7.3 asap) but currently can't find any method of exporting/uploading valid LDAP credentials from Pega so that they can be used in future builds.

Are there any scripts or API calls that I could possibly use so that an authentication service can be created via the command line?

Hi Elliot, not aware any such script. can you export the Authentication Service rule and import it in the destination system? you could use Pega command line export & import tool for this purpose.

Hi Gopi,

Can you please elaborate on exporting the Authentication Service rule? From my searches it appears to be data instead of a rule and using the default Pega export tool (for later command line upload) does not provide any options for Authentication Service or Sysadmin. 

I did briefly try "Pega-LP-OrgAndSecurity" but this did not include the Authentication Service in its package.

Hi Elliot, also please refer this article for creating product rule - https://pdn.pega.com/how-ensure-product-rule-includes-all-parts-application 

In this case, you will be listing the class 'Data-Admin-AuthService' in product rule.
