Pega 7.2.x Server hardware and virtual machine dependency
Hi Team,
We are referring to platform support guide PDF available at the https://collaborate.pega.com/discussion/prpc-5x-6x-platform-support-guide-easy-find.
As per the PDF Server hardware is listed only for 7.2.2 and not for 7.2.1. We assume that server hardware is common for both these versions of PRPC.
Please confirm if our assumption is valid.
And there only 5 server hardware names listed in the document under Server Hardware section. So does this mean that other servers hardware should not be used for installing Pega PRPC 7.2.2/7.2.1?
If we are hosting PRPC in IBM Web Sphere installed on a virtual machine will server hardware still be a matter of concern for us?

Yes, you are right. It means PRPC is certified/tested on these specific platforms and recommended to use the same.

You can go to Page 21 of the PDF and you can see the Prior release Platform support information ( 7.1.0-7.1.9)
Here is what I can see as the Server Hardware

To answer your other query, "So does this mean that other servers hardware should not be used for installing Pega PRPC 7.2.2/7.2.1?" I would say yes, it means that Pega has tested the particular release on these specific platforms.

Page #21 in the support document present in the link provide the information for version from 7.1.1 - 7.1.9.
Whereas I am looking for support guide for 7.2.1 version.
