Pega 7.2 ReadOnly Text in Tab Group Layout
The read only text font size doesn't follow the standard format of the text input , if we use Tab group layout.
Does any one else have noticed this issue?
Is there a way to force the tab layout to use the Standard Text input format rather than the format it currently uses?
Below are the screenshots of the same section with the various tabs used:
If we use the Layout Group ( Default Tabs ) the font size is picked up from the Skin -> Text Input (Standard)
Below is the sample screenshot.
If we use the Tab Group Layout which is a dynamic layout ( I am using this layout mainly, as I need to refresh the tabs when its active)
For the same section as above, the read-only text are displayed in much smaller size.
Why do the read-only text format differ when we change the underlying tab layout?

I can't see any settings in Skin to overwrite the format of the text displayed in the tab Body.
Please let me know if any one else know, how to achieve this?

Just to make it easy for all of us, the below workaround suggested by the pega support team has solved this issue.
1) Open "userWorkForm"
2) In HTML Source add below lines
<style>
.subTabbed{
font-size:inherit !important;
}
</style>

Does anyone else have this issue? Is it a bug in Tab layout? Please, Do share your thoughts?

Hi Srividhya
Is the issue specific to numeric fields ? I tried entering text and number values in a text field, and they appear same inside or outside of the tab
How have you configured your tab . Is it a dynamic layout / section include ? In my case I was using dynamic layouts both in and out of the tabs

It is happening for all the fields numeric and text.
All my sections are inside Dynamic Layouts.
Can you please check the same in the Review harness rather than the Perform harness and share the results please?
Also put the description and note in the "Layout Group - Tab" and compare the results with Tab Group - Dynamic Layout.
Also, please confirm whether you are using 7.2? As we are seeing the difference only after our 7.2 upgrade.

I am using 7.2 and do not see much of a difference between Perform and Review harnesses
Could you check the following
1.Compare behavior across browsers
2. Use developer tools of the the browser, select the text and check whether the font size is different

I have tested in both IE9 and Google Chrome.
Both observations are same. The font size differs for the same section in tab layout with respect to layout group.
The issue is happening with read-only view of numbers, dates and texts in the respective controls.
