Pega 7.2 connect to external mysql DB using SQL connector from pega
Hi I am using Pega 7.2. I'm trying to connect to external mysql DB using SQL connector from pega. The column in my external db are of type integer. After running Connector and metadata wizard, all activities are generated but when I run OPEN or BROWSE activity I get the error property 'xyz' not exposed. And when I try to Optimize that particular property from the generated class, I get the following error "
No Valid classes in the hierarchy
Unable to perform property optimization: The table mapped to this class does not have a stream column, so there is no property information to expose. The column must be created manually.
"
Pls give me suggestions/ideas to fix this issue its very urgent

this is expected behaviour.
when you are creating external table,
1. we need to manually create columns.
2. run add column query on the table and then on advanced tab of the class rule form, map the column to property

Optimize for reporting only works for tables which have the BLOB column and the property in the BLOB needs to be exposed (optimized) to its own column.
That said, assuming xyz column is already present in the external table and the property exists in PRPC, you might need an external mapping in the class definition if property name case is different from the column name case.
