If I understand your doubt correctly, the changes you may be noticing in the course are due to how we teach the data model lesson. In the System Architect Essentials (7.2) course, we chose to demonstrate how easy it is to create a data model from the Case Designer; instead of building it manually.

Is there a specific change you noticed?
