In Pega 7, Is the Default Email Account required to have actual email account (MS Outllook) ?
We were able send confiure the SMTP Sender information in Default email account and successfully send email notifcations , we did not complete Receiver section. My understanding is the Email Accounts in pega 7 didnt required actual email account (Outlook) for outbound notifications. Please let me know if my understanding is wrong, why ?

Email account is required for both sending emails and for receiving emails.
If you have not created any specific email account with any work pool name, then PRPC uses the Default email account. So configuring email account is required.
