PDF not opening inline to Screen when used external DB

PDF is not opening inline to the screen in recent contents when used external Database instead of Pega Internal DB. On retrieving and displaying the stored pdf data, I have renamed the Pega final activity in the calling rule and able to proceed. I am able to download the file, but sending the file for opening and displaying inline is not working out.
