You can pass the parameter to activity as below.

 <a href=?pyActivity=Class.ActivityName&Parametername=<%=value%>> LINK </a>

Please also check if you can make use of public API to do the same(sample here).

If I use the following code:

var oSafeURL = new SafeURL("Data-Corr-Email.ExportEmailToPDF");            pega.util.Connect.asyncRequest('GET',oSafeURL.toURL(),'');

The PDF does not get downloaded. 

Whereas if I use the following <a> tag code:

<a href=\prweb\?pyActivity=Data-Corr-Email.ExportEmailToPDF + serverURL> Export To PDF </a>

The PDF gets downloaded.

ExportEmailToPDF is calling pyViewasPDF.

I see no error on tracer and compared the parameters as well, could not find anything. Can you pls help with this. Please check the attachments and let me know if any other info needed.
