Page-Change-Class method for service activity
I have a file listener and in the listener service activity I am overriding the class of MyServicePage with the actual work class name using Page-Change-Class method. But, I could see the class name remains the same and doesn't get updated. I found one article which says this is a known issue in 7.1.9 but Pega might correct it in later versions. I am not sure if it still works in higher versions. Can someone please confirm? I applied the Java code as suggested by Pega in the support article and it solved the issue. Just wanted to check if the method functionality has indeed been updated by Pega.
I am using 7.3.1.

Hi,
Please find the status for this method in the context of Service-SOAP, The requirement is using the OOTB Page-Change-Class method to change the class of a page. However, this is not functional in a context of Service Soap. By including this method in the Service Soap activity, the method has not effect. The class of the primary page remains the same.

Yes. That's my point. So, looks like the issue still remains in higher PRPC versions. Thanks Sudhakar.
