Operator ID and Password not recognized on Configuring a Case Type Excercise
Hi I have installed the VMware workstation but the system is not recognizing the Operator ID and Password supplied in the exercise. The Op Id is author_cm@gogoroad and the pwd is rules.

Hi - I am having the same problem as above. I can't login with the above credentials as well. Any help would be appreciated.
The URL is also not working as I get a 503 service not available error.
Do let us know what could be done to sort this out as I would like to access the exercise material to practice for the exam.

Correct. I am entering my credentials in VMware console window. I have checked my typing to make sure there are no typos to no avail. the problem continues

Those credentials are not for VMWare console (this is not linux credentials), but for login in Pega in your browser

Thanks for replying. I can’t get to the pega login page in my browser as i get an error as stated above.
I am using the url which is shown on the vmware screen to access pega exercises. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

If you are getting the 502 or 503 error then it's most likely your application is crashing because the VM doesn't have enough resources. Are you getting error messages in the VM console?

Hi, I have installed VM (VirtualBox and correct pega file c1225-1323.ova) I have managed to open Pega login page . Id author_cm@gogoroad / psw rules is not working.

First: I assume that you downloaded and imported the correct VM for BAE 8. The filename of the VM should be C1225-1312.ova.
Assuming you have the correct VM, are you entering the credentials in the VM console window (which looks like a command-line interface) or in your web browser when you enter the URL provided in the console window?
