Open sharefolder path using link control
Hi All,
We have a requirement to capture shared folder path in a text box and user should be able to open the shared folder path when the text box is read only.
Seems the open url in new window action not working for shared folder paths. since its adding pega context to the path value.
Please let me know if your suggestions on this.

Hello Sri,
It seems that, you are opening the share folder path direclty without any protocal. Could you please add the applicable protocal to url and try the scenario.
ex: file://abc/pqr

I tried to append file:// protocol before the text box value which holds shared folder path, in run time system automatically adding server context before the file protocol ex: https://server.com/prweb. Please suggest.

This is working fine in 7.2. I have used a property to capture shared folder path, in read only setting onclick action - i kept open url in window. This was not worked in 7.1.9 and its working fine in 7.2
In 7.2 i am facing another issue - onclick of another property if i try to open the same url property which i created earlier - its adding pega context to the url and failed to open.
Any suggestions on this..
